David has previously formally mentored CPA students as they progress to becoming fully qualified accountants and has built and managed several finance teams in both Australia and NZ.
Raised by a high school maths teacher, David has a coaching style that clients find engaging and non-threatening using analogies and metaphors to explain complex issues in simple, easy to understand language. Picture someone able to take strategy from the board room and discuss it in the lunchroom.
Utilising his 20+ years of corporate boardroom experience, David is able to anticipate the needs of the board of directors and coach executive level clients on how to best prepare reports, business cases, budgets and how to ‘manage-up’.
Other clients just appreciate being able to pick up the phone and have a conversation about a specific issue or just a general strategic discussions.
